Mission

May the Lord fill you with His shalom-peace!

Effatha Revival is the third occasion of our Effatha – Be Opened 40 Days Eucharistic Adoration campaigns; the first in Nov 2021 during the Covid pandemic lockdown, and the 2nd at the start of the Russia-Ukraine war in Mar 2022, both having taken place out of London.

This Effatha Revival campaign is based out of Derry in Northern Ireland, and will kick-off with a Eucharistic Procession in Derry on February 3rd. The conviction came from prayer, dialogue and current circumstances in the world, that it is time for another campaign, hence Effatha Revival was born.

The particular intentions for Effatha Revival are the fruit of much prayer and dialogue, coming not only from our own team but also from without:

We encourage you to pray these intentions with us during Adoration and as inspired by the Holy Spirit.

There is much disruption in the world and sometimes in our own lives; the Lord however, is doing new things in the midst of disruptions.

Effatha Revival is part of the ‘new things’ God is doing in the midst of the storm, because Jesus is Lord of the storm, and is teaching His sons & daughters how to walk on water as we turn back to Him with all our hearts.

Our good Lord desires to light a new fire, and it begins in the hearts of His children who spend time with Him in prayer and in Adoration.

The Blessed Mother, especially in her apparitions in Knock and Guadalupe, also inspires us to make this pilgrimage of faith. May her intercession for Effatha Revival help to realize the words of 2 Chronicles 7:14 in our hearts: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth!

How it works?

We want to pray for 40 days 24/7 with as many adorers across the globe! Let’s unite the world in adoring Jesus!

We encourage you to commit to one or more hours a week on a specific day of the week, e.g. 11.00-12.00 every Wednesday over the next 6 weeks during 40 days!

It’s only one hour a week but it can make a huge difference for the whole world!

You can adore in any church in the world (if you can't go to church, you can still adore online usingthis link), we just ask you to register when you commit to pray so we can ensure continuous prayer 24/7 over the 40 days with people united in prayer from all parts of the world.
A Holy Hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament is worth more than a thousand years of human glory.

St. Padre Pio

Why from 8th February - 19th March?

February 8th is providential, it is the feast day of Saint Bakhita, the patron saint of victims of human trafficking, which is one of our prayer intentions for this campaign; an appropriate day to start! The Solemnity of St. Joseph is also a good day to conclude as we honour this great man of God and seek his intercession and protection over the Adoration campaign.

After 40 Days of Eucharistic Adoration, the campaign will conclude with a Eucharistic procession on 19th March, St Joseph’s Feast Day.

We contribute to the radical transformation of the world during our Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration.
